Graphite porous media gas bearings utilize the lubricating properties of gas in graphite porous media to achieve bearing support and friction reduction. Graphite porous media materials contain many small pores. Gas enters the bearing through these pores to form an air film, which creates a gas lubricating film between the bearing and the shaft, thereby reducing the friction coefficient and friction loss.
